Evening Classes

My evening classes are the perfect way to allow space for your yoga practice into your busy weekly routine.

Classes begin at 8.30pm - so there’s no mad dash to get ready before the children are asleep or miss out on your dinner to attend class!

Enjoy the opportunity to unwind a tired and overstimulated mind and stretch out and invigorate your body through tailored flow routines and gentle movement. We learn a new flow each month, allowing you to really learn the poses and engage with your breath.

And, not forgetting the peaceful resolution to each class through guided meditation and relaxation breathing techniques.

Breath (Pranayama)

We engage our breath throughout the flow sequences that we learn monthly (normally inhale for one movement, and exhale to the next) - once you know the flow and can really start to focus on the breath, it all comes together and almost feels like a dance!

At the end of our sessions we always finish with relaxation, breathing exercises and mindfulness. This may take the form of learning breathing exercises that you can then use in your everyday life, or I may lead you on a short mindfulness meditation. Either way, you will finish the class calmer but also physically stronger - it’s a great feeling!

Flows

The vinyasa flow sequences change monthly. This allows you to get to know the sequence - by the third or fourth week you’ll be flowing and breathing in unison, which feels magic!

The flows are created by me and often have a specific focus or intention. For example, for the last few months we have been working our way through our Chakras (Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown) allowing a deep focus on a different part of your physical body each month.

 

Monday Evening

Place: Ubley Village Hall

Cost: Monthly membership available, £60 for a block of 6 classes

Wednesday Evening

Day & Time: Every Wednesday evening at 8.30pm

Place: Online (Zoom)

Cost: Monthly membership available, £45 for a block of 6 classes, or £11 drop in.
