FAQs

What should I wear for a vinyasa flow yoga class?

You will need to be able to move freely and comfortably in your flow yoga class, so I would suggest wearing lightweight layers suitable for exercise.

Some people prefer to be able to tuck in or wear a tighter fitting top layer, to prevent tops falling away during inverted poses.

I would also suggest bringing warmer layers (a jumper, blanket and socks) for the relaxation part of the session.

What age is Kids Yoga suitable for?

I teach kids yoga from tiny preschoolers through to teenagers. Classes will be suited to the needs of each group and can also be tailored for mixed age groups where relevant.

You can find out more about kids yoga here.

Do I need to bring my own mat?

Most people prefer to bring their own mats, but I will always have some spares with me and you can let me know in advance if you need me to provide you with a mat, if you would prefer.

I have health concerns, can I do flow yoga?

Probably, although if you have concerns you should check with your doctor first.

The wonderful thing about flow yoga is that you will be entirely guided by your own body - by your own physical and emotional needs and limitations.

I will teach you how to practice safely and how to listen and respond to your body.
